Description

Multiple craterlets are visible inside Plato and also a hint of the rima on the bottom of the Vallis Alpes can be glimpsed.

This is all the more noteworthy since:

a) I used light in the R-IR range (642-750nm);

b) the moon was close to its maximum distance from Earth (404000 km).

On the other hand seeing was unusually good, albeit not perfect (more 1.5 than 2).

Description: Region of Plato and Vallis Alpes upscaled 120% and with curves tuned to improve contrast and show better the craterlets in Plato.
Also a vague hint of the rima on the bottom of the Vallis Alpes can be glimpsed if one knows where to look and what for.
